I live in Slough and on full-time education, don't have a job and i try to make one home game every month. i always sit in RS4 with fellow hornets, Ross, Ben, Sam and sometimes Michael. I always chant and my last game was against Cardiff, we won 4-1 and we chanted for full 90mins. COYH!

Hi lads,
Leicester fan here. Quick question - Why did you change your name from 'Rookery Ultras' to 'Yellow Order'? Did the club ask you to?

Hi lads, Leicester fan here. Quick question - Why did you change your name from 'Rookery Ultras' to 'Yellow Order'? Did the club ask you to? They asked us to move away from the 'Ultras Image'. As well as this, people on the Watford forums thought that Ultras were Hooligans, so already they had a bad opinion of us. And by the way mate, how did you hear about us? Do you live in or around Watford or in Leicester? Thanks for posting

I'm in Leicester pal.
So are you classing yourselves as an Ultras group then or what? Just seems a bit of a fudged mentality if you backed down to the club at the first time of asking...

We never backed down from the club, we've had several meetings with the club concerning us being where we are, and they said that people don't understand the meaning of 'Ultra' so we recommend you change your name from having the word Ultras in it. The director of security at the Vic bumped into one of our lads after a match and told him that were doing a great job, and to keep doing what were doing. We want to get along with Watford FC as well as we can otherwise it never will take off with the club condoning your actions when they have nearly all of the members details as they are season ticket holders

Basically, the guy that created the group originally named us 'Rookery Ultras'. This was with the misconception that Ultras are associated with vocal and visual support where firms are the associated with violence, wheras in modern times, ultras are also associated with violent and aggressive behaviour. This group isn't like that. Our aims are to create new songs, encourage others to join in, and create a visual display as well as bringing watford fans together.
The name 'rookery ultras' was always going to be temporary to give people a rough idea of what we were about. The name 'Yellow Order' came after we decided we wanted to move away from the ultras mentality, and the club had also offered us more support if we moved away from that name. It's a dull name anyway to be fair.
How did you find out about us?

Also its just an opinion but i think the colour scheme on here is slightly overwhelming..

i am an exile living in north wales, great to hear some at last fightiung back against the apathy that all seater grounds breed. Hate them -they are anti social, uncomfortable ,a rip off--i was brought up in the Rookery of the seventies-- whole different place! I now support my local team Bangor City--we have a noisy and relatively large ultra group--in the welsh league this does not have connotations-- we all have banter and change ends at half time--plenty of terracing to stand in too. Check out some of our you tube adventures--you get the flavour--its what makes football special--good luck and will get to see you sometime--an away in the north west!
The name 'order' is well dodgy--has fascist connotations!!

Lads Just registered to give you all a bundle of support as you try to give the Vic some atmosphere. Sadly, at my age I won't be with you but as a former standing member of the Rookery throughout the years I hope that you get the ground rocking. The site is good and I'm glad to see the Colours are easier on the eye from yesterday. best of Luck & COYH

Good work guys. I am 30 soemthing Hornet, travelling down from Northampton every week.
Glad someone is trying to improve the atmosphere at last.
Saw your lyrics for It's a Heartache a try on youtube. You should give it a go, it could work and seems pretty original which is a positive. But don't give up too quick - as you know Watford fans are a bit slow to catch on.
People are from other areas of the Rookerty are starting to join in with some of the songs you've persisted with (We Love You for example). Only problem is you're a bit out of the way in RS4 so it's difficult to get the momentum from your group to carry to the rest of us.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not but have you considered printing off some song sheets for the rest of the Rookery?
It may help spread the word about what you're trying to achieve. how about getting in touch with the guys doing the next edition of 'Clap Your Hands' and sticking a page or 2 in there about yourselves with some of the words to songs too?
People seem to want to join in with 'We Love You' & I know it's quite a simple song but quite a few people sound like they don't know what you're singing so only join in at certain points. same could be true of It's a heartache or any others you try.
I hope you keep going because I think it will pay off. "Yellow red & Black army" is starting to spread, so fair play to you.
Personally I like the Dale Cavese song which you've not tried for a few weeks.

Welcome to the forum guys. Thank you ever so much for your support, it is really encouraging when we get feedback like that and spurs us on to just get better and better. We have considered providing a songsheet, and have also considered getting a page or two in the programme. Hopeefully can combine the two together to get some of the lyrics out to those who aren't sure, and to also explain to those who havent already heard about us, who we are and what we are trying to achieve. So far word of mouth has done a good job, and it would be great if you guys can help spread that word, and also mention that we welcome anybody up to RS4! Thanks again guys, and it doesn't matter how old you are, we already have our token grandad up with us. He knows who he is So do come an join in, my 82 year old grandfather came to Reading away with me and stood the whole game, so let that be an inspiartion to all of you

I've been convinced on another forum to come up for the next game. Is there any particular row in RS4 I should go to or anybody in particular i should meet or so i just go up and stand?
I also think that handing out leaflets before a game is a great idea to spread the word, and a page in the programme would be excellent.
